BCC/SCC

Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) are the two most common types of skin cancer. While these cancers are usually not life-threatening, they can cause significant damage to the skin and surrounding tissues if left untreated.

Surgery is often the primary treatment option for BCC and SCC. The goal of surgery is to remove the cancerous tissue while preserving as much healthy tissue as possible. Reconstructive surgery may be necessary to repair the skin and surrounding tissues after the cancer has been removed. This surgery may involve skin grafts or flaps to restore the appearance and function of the affected area.
